The 2025-26 season fixtures can be viewed by clicking on the fixtures and results page and are almost complete. I hope to arrange all of the Anglo-Welsh Cup fixtures this week. These will be emailed out to all squad members.
Saturday 13th September: Swindon fall to heavy defeat in the capital. Swindon travelled to south-west London for a representative friendly against Sutton P.S.F.A. but finished on the wrong side of an 8:2 score line.
Thursday 18th September: training at New College from 4.30-5.30 p.m.
Saturday 20th September: Wokingham (A) Swindon make the relatively short trip east along the M4 for our first Southern Counties League fixture of the season. The venue is Crosfields School, Shinfield Road, Reading RG2 9B. Leave M4 at J11 and follow B3270 and then A327. We have been asked to use the first entrance into the site off the A327 (just past the entrance to the ECMWF and not the main entrance). Please drive around to the sports hall and park opposite it. Kick-off is at 10.30 a.m. Players are asked to arrive in uniform by 9.45 a.m. Food is being provided and I will contact everyone via the WhatsApp group with the team list on or before Wednesday.
Thursday 25th September: training at New College from 4.30-5.30 p.m.
Saturday 27th September: Elmbridge & Runnymede (H) Swindon welcome the Surrey side to Gerard Buxton for our first home match of the season. Kick-off is at 11.00 a.m. Players are asked to arrive in uniform by 10.15 a.m. There will be a match programme on sale (£2) and hot food after the match in the PH Suite. As usual, I will contact everyone via the WhatsApp group with the team list on or before the Wednesday prior to the match.
The representative side was formed in 1973 and plays in four regional competitions; the Southern Counties League, Southern Counties Cup and Anglo-Welsh Cup. (click to view details of these competitions).
